Privacy Policy
1. Data We Process
Telemetry & Diagnostics
We process high-frequency hardware metrics transmitted via OCPP 1.6 and OCPP 2.0.1 (e.g., voltage, current, internal temperature, connector state, and station geolocation).
Account & User Info
Basic business user details including corporate email addresses, user roles, authentication tokens, and dispatch notification preferences.
Driver Privacy (Zero PII Policy)
Satiate processes hardware operational metrics exclusively. We do not collect, store, or sell consumer driver Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or credit card billing information under any circumstances.
2. How Data is Used
Satiate strictly utilizes ingested telemetry to power the operational tools provided to the Charge Point Operator (CPO). Specifically, data is used to:
- Train predictive degradation models within Satiate Sentinel to identify hardware anomalies.
- Optimize and suggest off-peak field maintenance dispatch windows via Satiate Dispatch.
- Stream live telemetry and health status visually to your secure business portal (
dashboard.satiate.io).
3. Security & Encryption
Security is embedded into the core pipeline architecture. Satiate ensures that all telemetry flows through highly encrypted and isolated channels.
All telemetry is secured using TLS 1.3 / WSS WebSocket encryption protocols.
Enterprise operational data is stored in isolated MongoDB Atlas clusters. Time-series metrics in InfluxDB are strictly encrypted at rest.
Terms of Service
1. Platform Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Satiate guarantees high availability to ensure your grid operations are never blind. We target a 99.9% platform availability SLA for continuous OCPP packet ingestion via the Satiate Pulse endpoints. In the event of a gateway disruption, edge nodes are configured to queue metrics to prevent data loss.
2. Acceptable Use & API Limits
Charge Point Operators retain full, unquestioned ownership of their operational hardware telemetry. Satiate acts solely as the processor and diagnostic engine.
As part of your service tier, Satiate provides non-exclusive, authenticated API access to stream and visualize your diagnostic telemetry to internal BI tools or external maintenance CRMs. API rate limits are applied strictly based on the contracted organizational tier to ensure shared cluster stability.
3. System Responsibility
Satiate Sentinel is an advanced diagnostic engine designed to provide predictive maintenance advice and recommended dispatch actions based on probabilistic ML models.
While our models are highly accurate, Satiate does not assume liability for physical hardware failures. Final work order approvals, electrical grid safety compliance, and physical field execution remain fully under the governance and responsibility of the Charge Point Operator.
